This 11-acre land will transport you to Andy’s backyard where guests will feel like they’ve been shrunk down to toy sized beings. There they’ll wander around building blocks, plastic buckets and shovels and other oversized toys Andy has assembled with his creative imagination.
The long-awaited Toy Story Land will let guests emerge themselves in this imaginative land of make believe where they can play and explore with some of their favorite characters from the film.
Toy Story Land New Rides:

This kiddie coaster was built by Andy using a Mega Coaster Play Kit. Guests can hop on the famous character Slinky Dog for an exciting fun time. Slinky Dog Dash will “dip, dodge, and dash,” as Disney puts it all over Andy’s backyard. There will be plenty of thrills on this outdoor coaster that the whole family will love!
Alien Swirling Saucers
Guests who love Disney classics like the teacups, will love this updated version of a classic. Alien Swirling Saucers features Toy Story’s favorite Pizza Planet claw machine aliens. This ride transports the aliens to Andy’s backyard where he has left them outside. Guests will climb into their own personal toy rocket but will have to hang on tight as the aliens take over. On this interstellar adventure, guests will spin around in their flying saucers as they listen to out-of-this-world updated beats of some familiar Disney classics.
Toy Story Mania
This already established attraction at Hollywood studios gets an updated entrance for the new attraction area. Guests can enter Andy’s room through a carnival game box. Inside they’ll blast their way through a carnival-themed 4D arcade game. Guests can compete against each other for the highest score.
Toy Story Land Food and Entertainment
Woody’s Lunch Box
If guests get hungry while they visit Toy Story Land, Andy set up his lunch box into a backyard window service restaurant. Woody’s Lunch Box will serve tasty classics with a twist like S’more French toast breakfast sandwich, BBQ brisket melt, Totchos, Lunch box tarts, and more. Guests can stop by for lunch or a snack with this on-the-go menu.
One of the best parts of visiting Walt Disney World is the chance to meet all the classic Disney characters. Now, guests can find all their Toy Story favorites in one spot. There are daily chances for photographs with Buzz, Woody, and Jessie. Plus, some of Andy’s other toys will make appearances from time to time too.
Sarge and the Green Army Man Drum Corps
Sarge and his corps on green army men will march through Toy Story Land several times a day. While out in Andy’s backyard, Sarge will invite guests to play games with them like “Sarge Says,” a twist on Simon Says. Or they can try out an interactive boot camp to see if they have what it takes to be an official green army man recruit.
Toy Story Land will open on June 30th with all these attractions. This is just part of all the wonderful new attractions and entertainment that makes Central Florida one of the best places in the nation to invest in vacation real estate.

The Orlando real estate market is one of the best in the world. We have gathered a list of seven reasons Orlando is the perfect real estate investment market.
Orlando’s GDP is expected to grow 3-3.5% in 2018 which is higher than the average growth expected nationwide. Because of Orlando’s focus on tourism, the tech industry, and medical sector, many companies are building locations in the Orlando market. These companies attract more jobs to the region. With more people moving to the area, the demand for housing increases and property values rise. This trend isn’t expected to end anytime soon in Orlando as there are major commercial development projects projected for years to come!
Affordability and Rental Potential
The average cost of homes in Orlando is around $277K which is still below the national average of $350K. Because Orlando is one of the fastest growing regions in the United States, there is a huge demand for rental properties ensuring that your investment won’t stay empty for long increasing revenue streams your property can return.
Location and Climate:
Orlando’s subtropical climate is appealing to many. With warm temperatures year-round, theme parks and beaches nearby, and low cost of living, Orlando has many perks! It’s a really attractive region for both businesses who want to move their headquarters to the area and people who move to the region for job opportunities and more pleasant living conditions.
Infrastructure development has been at the forefront of Orlando’s growth. Currently, over 40 million dollars will be invested in Orlando’s infrastructure via the I-4 Ultimate Project and the second phase of the Sunrail commuter train program. These capital improvements will help make it easier to travel throughout the region allowing more people to live, work, and play more comfortably no matter what part of town they live in.
A lot of large scale entertainment projects have come to fruition in the past few years which gives a lot of options to both residents and visitors to the area. This makes Orlando a more vibrant and attractive market for those considering a move to the area.
Just within the last few years, Orlando has welcomed a multimillion dollar performing arts center in the Dr. Phillips Center. Now phase two is underway with two new theaters slated to be a part of the Center by 2020.
Other capital investments in entertainment are a new soccer stadium for the major league Orlando City Soccer Club and an updated 207.7 million dollar update of Camping World Stadium in 2014. Plus, word famous acts filter through technologically elite area via the Amway Center.
Add to those projects the constant investment in the tourist area and Orlando becomes a very attractive choice for anyone who may want to relocate and wants a lot of entertainment options.
World Class Hospitals and Technology:
Growth in the medical and technology sectors has been paramount to Orlando’s vision of the future, and the local governments are investing heavily to ensure they attract the right types of companies to the area to achieve this vision.
In Lake Nona, Medical City is the medical hub in town and is home to some of the leading hospitals, universities, research institutions, and health and life sciences companies. Their goal is to be a new destination for medical innovation globally.
Near downtown Orlando, the Creative Village will be a mixed-use urban space that will focus on the digital media industry and will include both commercial and residential spaces. There will also be a public school and university campuses right in the neighborhood.
In Osceola County, the manufacturing and research facility BRIDG will be the center of a planned mixed use walkable green community called NEO City. This long term project is slated to bring billions of dollars into the region over the next few decades.
And of course! Number 1 Tourist Destination in the World:
Orlando attracts a record-breaking number of tourists each year. In 2016 alone, an increase of 2 million visitors came to the area. Reports from the first 9 months of 2017 saw the largest tourism numbers the state has ever seen at 88 million—a large majority of that in the Central Florida market.
Because of the increase in visitors, there is a rising demand for vacation rentals for them to stay in. The short-term rental market is booming! There are dozens of communities in the attractions area for investors to choose from.

Metro Orlando is the 2nd fastest growing region according to Forbes Magazine in 2017. To better serve the area and create an Orlando with an eye on the future, 68 acres of land near the heart of downtown will be turned into Orlando’s Creative Village. This new region will focus on creating a true space for residents to “live, work, learn, and play” in an urban destination that is primed to grow into the 21st century.
The Creative Village will be constructed with the vision of a livable community in mind. Currently, 1,500 residential units are slated to be built. The community will be designed around walkable open spaces and parks to help connect residents in the area.
Transit is also a very important component to the new Creative Village. The community will have easy access to the commuter train Sunrail. It will also be connected to Lynx, Orlando’s public bus system with the main distribution terminal minutes from Creative Village.
The Creative Village will be metro Orlando’s hub for innovation and technology. The area will have up to 1,000,000 square feet of office and creative space for businesses with a focus on high tech, digital media, and other creative endeavors.
In addition, to encourage the creative atmosphere of the Creative Village, the city will commission local artists to produce public art installations which will highlight the, already vibrant, artist community Orlando has.
With education being the other forefront of the project, both the University of Central Florida and Valencia College will share a campus with over 100,000 square feet of education space. In addition, the Creative Village will have approximately 600 beds for students to live.
Primary education will be represented at the Creative Village too. Orange County Public Schools will house their Academic Center for Excellence there. This community school will serve Paramore children from preschool through 8th grade.
Creative Village will have plenty of options for play in the community. Up to 150,000 square feet of retail and commercial space will be built in the coming years. With so much new space to fill, there will be plenty of opportunity for new business growth in the restaurant and retail space in the area.
For even more play options, just outside of Creative Village lives so many wonderful attractions that already calls Orlando Home. Residents of the Creative Village will be close by to the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts, The Amway Center, Camping World Stadium, and The Orlando City Soccer Stadium. Plus, there is already plenty of established arts, entertainment, and dining within walking distance of the Creative Village in Downtown Orlando.
The Central Florida region surrounding Orlando is ripe with investment opportunities. While there is a lot of opportunity in the theme park areas for vacation home properties and short-term rental investments, there are even more investment opportunities in the surrounding area as the region grows. If you want to invest in this growing region of Orlando or learn more about other popular areas like Neocity, Celebration, or Winter Garden, please contact us at Milena@vivaorlando.com We’re here to help you grow your investment.
Located in Osceola county just north of downtown Kissimmee, lives the site for Neocity a new high tech corridor in the early stages of development. Neocity will build new commercial and residential areas around the already opened high tech manufacturing facility, BRIDG. This will bring a large economic impact in the area and provides a unique opportunity for real estate investors to get in on the ground floor.
Just a few months ago, Osceola County released development plans for Neocity which will construct infrastructure and support over the course of the next fifty years. In April, the first phase of that plan opened, BRIDG, a high-tech research center with 109,000 sqft of space. BRIDG is the most advanced manufacturing research facility in the western hemisphere dedicated to research and development for smart sensors, imagers, advance devices, and 2.5/3D chip integration.
However, Neocity will be more than just a traditional research park development. They aim to create a progressive place in Osceola County that will connect people with natural landscapes and their community through a walkable urban framework. The area will feature green technology and walkable infrastructure throughout. Connections to public transportation and rail systems are important too. The city aims to meet the demands of the next generation and will include connections with the local Sunrail and bus system.
Neocity development is projected to attract over 200,000 new jobs into the area over the course of the next few decades due to direct and indirect development. Many will be high earning professional jobs that are not currently concentrated in the area. Meaning that Neocity development will be attract a whole new type of resident that is not currently served there now.
The total economic impact is estimated at $25.3 to 25.8 billion dollars to the area. Plus, within the next 10 years, the region will be home to 1 million square feet of business space and in the next 25 years, there will be upwards of 5 million square feet.
Surrounding the future location of Neocity, you will find plenty of options for sound real estate investments in both commercial and residential property. This is an up and coming area that will be highly desirable in the next few years. Now your perfect chance to purchase before prices increase due to the growth of new residents living, working, and purchasing real estate in the area.
We suggest looking at holder homes and businesses in the nearby area within a five-mile radius of Neocity. If Osceola County is investing in Neocity in order to grow, shouldn’t you invest in the unique opportunity to own Central Florida real estate too?

The park will open with new ride scheduling wearable technology called Tapu Tapu. This new technology makes long waits in lines nonexistent, so you can spend more time having for and less time in line.
Universal has intentionally dubbed Volcano Bay as a water theme park and brings the feel of the South Pacific and Polynesia right to central Florida. Guests can explore four distinct lands within the park.
Volcano Bay will feature speed slides, an aqua coaster, a multi-directional wave pool, a toddler area, lazy river, and raft rides.
• Legoland Ninjago: Opened January 12, 2017
